Evidently I'm pretty good at a lot of things. I dunno. I just enjoy creating (and have a really short attention span)!
That's it. Thank u.
I've written and published a children's book series - greatly inspired by my own magical kids- called The Magical Adventures of Shiloh and Jax . You should totally check it out.
We are a photography experienced centered around teens.
How we started?
Well, my eldest daughter, Ryan Li (she has a tab.. you can click it!) wanted to model. Well, despite how striking I believed she was, we were initially met quite a bit of resistance when trying to find her representation and work in the industry. Ryan began to doubt herself. She thought her hair was too tightly coiled, too short; thought her cheekbones were too defined, and her lips too big. She thought she was "too" everything and yet, not "enough".
That's when I decided we needed to pave a road to confidence where it did not yet exist. -And we did . After curating many successful shoots, and collaborating with various amazing creative talents in Atlanta, Ryan was well on her way to becoming a professional model. She loved everything about the experience, and her confidence grew. She became comfortable in her skin, and started rocking her natural hair in mostly all of shoots without a thought.
TeenWork was birthed out of love and ferocity. We recognized that there was empowerment in performing for the lens, and not only feeling "enough" but feeling worthy (-and having fabulous photographs to prove it!) Ryan feels that every teen deserves this experience, and I'm here for it!
